The legal basis for processing personal data is Legitimate Interest. We are a government approved producer compliance scheme and support companies who have a legal obligation under the Packaging, WEEE and Batteries regulations. We are also a sustainability consultancy supporting businesses to reduce their environmental impact through voluntary initiatives.
We have a legitimate interest in marketing our services to existing customers to increase sales, as well as help customers to further reduce environmental impact and fulfil their legal obligations.
We have a legitimate interest in marketing our services to prospective customers as they have previously engaged with our digital content/events and/or have shown proactive interest in our services, or who have a legal obligation under UK and overseas waste regulations.
Beyondly is committed to protecting the privacy of users of our websites and services. When you visit our web pages, our web servers record IP address, connection data, pages you visit when visiting our site and operating system used to access our site. Upon submitting a contact form from within our website, we will collect additional personal information such as: your name; telephone number; e-mail address; your requirements of the service you request.
The member area of Beyondly’s website requires registration and a password for access. Information obtained through the website may also be used for Beyondly’s marketing purposes within the limits of national law. Beyondly provides a right of access and rectification of personal data under the applicable legislation, please refer to Right to Information below.
Your information may be passed on to the Environment Agency for fulfilling compliance requirements of Beyondly customers. We will only pass on information regarding your Packaging, WEEE or Batteries registration.

We use the personal data which you have provided us with to carry out your requests and requirements for the basis of completion of contract. We track web usages to improve and identify the services we can offer and provide to you, ensuring our web and email content is relevant and useful to you.
We will send you marketing information if you have consented or if we have a legitimate interest to do so.
Beyondly do not sell, transfer or share or disclose your data and will not do so in future, as we are committed to protecting your data. We will disclose, however, if required by law, or for the purpose of the contract we hold with you unless you have given Beyondly express consent to do so.

Use of Web Tracking
Beyondly uses web tracking software to determine our website usage, how many visitors and how often, without collecting personal data or IP addresses. The data that is used is anonymous and summarised for statistical purposes and for developing the website.
How does Beyondly protect data?
Beyondly takes the security of your data seriously. Beyondly has internal policies and controls in place to try to ensure that your data is not lost, accidentally destroyed, misused or disclosed, and is not accessed except by its employees in the performance of their duties.

For how long does Beyondly keep data?
Beyondly stores personal data for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which the personal data are processed. Personal data is stored for as long as needed to fulfil the required service contract with Beyondly, and/or if engagement with Beyondly promotional and/or informational content has occurred in the preceding 12-months.
Right to Information

- require Beyondly to change incorrect or incomplete data
- require Beyondly to delete or stop processing your data, for example where the data is no longer necessary for the purposes of processing; and
- object to the processing of your data where Beyondly is relying on its legitimate interests as the legal ground for processing.
