We’re excited to have been chosen as finalists at a second set of awards this year, now at the UK Business Awards 2020 in the Well-being at Work category
The UK Business Awards (UKBA) recognise the finest accomplishments from the world of British business. Now in it's 6th year, the UKBA has 16 awards categories designed to give credit to organisations of all sizes and across any sector, as well as the teams and individuals, who are shaping the future of business.
Our entry for the 'Well-being at Work' category centres around our bespoke health and wellbeing programme for staff implemented in 2017, which delivers multiple positive business benefits; hence we felt this category was a perfect fit.
Our health and well-being initiative was developed on the back of employee feedback along with the host of benefits staff receive as part of the programme; including membership to a luxurious wellbeing centre on site, annual sporting challenges entry, opportunity for flexible working and quarterly team building activities, just to name a few. It also outlines the impact and benefits the programme has achieved to date, and the success measures used. Specifically, a few examples of the programme’s positive impact so far are that employee turnover has decreased by over 30%, 75% employees believe the programme has improved morale and the cost of sickness absence per employee has reduced by more than half.
The Awards Finals and Ceremony will take place on 9 July via videoconferencing platform.
