We’re excited to have joined Business Declares as an official member. Business Declares is a network of businesses declaring a climate and ecological emergency, taking purposeful action to reach carbon neutrality. We hope to take action and collaborate in order to make a difference during the climate crisis for the planet and people
Business Declares is a not-for-profit organisation formed by senior leaders with a range of experience from the SME, B Corp and FTSE100 sectors. The organisation are official members of the UN Race to Zero team for COP26 and believe that business has a major part to play in tackling the climate, ecological and social emergency.
They exist to raise awareness across the business sector to accelerate action to address climate change, biodiversity loss and social injustice: imperative to future proof every business by balancing profits with people and ethics, to live within planetary boundaries. Furthermore, their purpose is to galvanise the voice from the business community advocating for regulatory change, to build a resounding voice from business to propel a greater political will for urgent action.

Comply Direct is proud to be joining Business Declares and the fast-growing network of businesses who acknowledge the Climate and Ecological Emergency. We are committed to reducing our emissions and impact on biodiversity, with an ambition to be net zero by 2030 for our direct emissions. Underpinning our dedication to creating an improved environment, is our company vision to build a better, fairer, sustainable world for all. Our business purpose is to lead, inspire and educate to positively impact society and the environment. Therefore, concern for both people and the planet is already embedded throughout our values and operations.
We will share our journey as part of the Business Declares collective and hope that together we can make the required change happen. We celebrate all companies that declare and whilst we have much progress still to make at Comply Direct, we are indeed making positive headway on an improvement roadmap to being a real force for good in this world.
Our priority is to accelerate our own action and inspire speedier action from other businesses. We are truly excited by the level of combined good that will come from many organisations having a clear purpose and aligned, ethical values to all Business Declares Members. As a signatory of Business Declares, we are part of a coalition of the willing; looking to collaborate and accelerate action whilst continuing to highlight the challenges and uncomfortable truths in paramount existence on our planet.
