Record Year for Beyondly’s Fund for Change
Beyondly is thrilled to announce a record year for its Fund for Change grant-giving initiative. This year, Beyondly has generously donated £278,045.49 to 17 charities and community interest companies (CICs).
Each year, Beyondly commits to giving 5% of their net profit to charitable projects. Charities interested in being involved in this initiative are invited to complete an application form, in order to detail the level of impact their projects will have and how it aligns with Beyondly’s mission; to lead, inspire, and educate to positively impact society and the environment. The Beyondly team then selects the projects that best meet these criteria.
The 2024 Fund for Change initiative has supported a diverse range of charities, including:
- Silsden Proms on the Park
- Skipton Eco Day
- Craven Connect
- Martin House
- Craven Arts
- Groundworks Yorkshire
- WRAP
- Smartworks Leeds
- WasteAid
- Yorkshire Dales Millennium Trust (YDMT)
- Wastebuster
- ENSO Creative Arts
- Aire Resilience
- Bradford Organic
- National Oceanography Centre (NOC)
- Growing with Grace
- Skipton Step Into Action Christmas Appeal
2024 marks the third year of the Fund for Change and Beyondly is delighted to see the initiative grow, seeing an 85% increase on last year's total donation. As Beyondly continues to evolve, so does its ability to support more charities and have a greater impact. No matter the size of the donation, Beyondly is delighted to witness the genuine difference their funding will make for these organisations.
Mel Harper, Beyondly's Brand and Impact Manager, who transitioned into this role earlier this year, has played a vital role in driving forward the company’s impact goals, particularly through the Fund for Change initiative. Mel will continue to work closely with the supported charities to ensure that the funding achieves the greatest possible impact.
Mel expressed her thoughts on this year’s Fund for Change; "It's incredibly rewarding to see the tangible impact our Fund for Change is making on these charities and CICs. By donating to these remarkable organisations, we are not only supporting their vital work but also reinforcing our commitment to having a positive impact."
To further enhance this impact, this year Beyondly has committed to long-term projects and partnerships with charities such as WRAP and NOC. This commitment aligns with Beyondly’s broader company goals and presents opportunities for achieving a more significant and sustained impact within the environmental landscape over a longer period of time.
Beyondly is excited to share its ongoing journey and the positive changes these partnerships will bring. Stay tuned for further updates on the progress of these donations!
