Beyondly achieve the Investors in People Platinum Award and Investors in Wellbeing Gold Award

The full Beyondly team are overjoyed to share some amazing news! The company has achieved We invest in people platinum accreditation, and We invest in wellbeing gold accreditation. Only 5% of IIP accredited businesses have attained the platinum standard, making this a significant milestone for Beyondly.

Beyondly started their Investors in People journey when first recognised in 2010 and in true Beyondly fashion, continued this success with the achievement of the Silver Award in 2013, following our first review. In 2016, we were awarded the Gold Standard (which has been maintained up until recently) and received our first award for our Health and Wellbeing initiatives. This year, during our 16th year in business, we have been awarded the most esteemed people Platinum Standard and the incredible wellbeing Gold Standard. Our assessor commented on our momentous progress over the years, “The step change in what you have achieved against the We invest in people framework has been phenomenal.”

Investors in People is the UK's leading accreditation for business improvement through people management and provides a wealth of resources for businesses to innovate, improve and grow, with a focus on good people making great business. It’s a simple framework to benchmark the effectiveness of leadership and management practices in any organisation.

The platinum and gold awards come after a detailed assessment which took place over several days and was carried out by the IIP through meetings, reviews, surveys, interviews, and observation. The assessment allowed us to understand our organisation from an unbiased and independent review of our people strategy, practices, and outcomes, providing us with a final report of feedback. Our assessor commented, “This is an incredibly impressive assessment and you have made conscious effort to drive improvement in the areas of the standard which were assessed at the established level in 2019”

Over recent years, the Talent and Culture team have excelled in developing our internal practices and health and wellbeing programme, with a focus on building leadership capabilities across the team and external training opportunities, as well as introducing 10 new initiatives for the benefit of employee wellbeing. This is echoed within our report and after analysis of the employee surveys, the assessor fed back, “In terms of Beyondly being a great place to work, the comments from your employees spread across this report are testament to this”.

Our assessment was a great opportunity for us to hear from our team and we’ve learnt a lot from the assessment that we will use to continue making improvements over the next few years. However, we are delighted and extremely proud of the outcome and overall feedback from our assessor, “Beyondly  has undergone significant transformation in the last three years since securing We invest in people Gold. You haven’t just weathered the pandemic storms, but you’ve thrived through this period, and the passion your people have for the business was evident through all of my conversations with the team.”
